Nott, the Brave... and Drunk
Nott, the Brave... and Drunk
Tasting notes: This is a blend that, while great on it's own, is also great as a hot toddy or iced cocktail! I had a lot of fun blending this one. The base is a nice malty assam black tea, with a light sprinkling of chai spices like clove, ginger and cinnamon, and then some chestnut flavor which adds a little nuttiness and caramel notes. This isn't spiced as much as a traditional chai is, but I think it would make a really good latte as well.

There are no actual nuts or nut extracts used in the making of this tea so it is nut allergen friendly!
I knew I wanted to make Nott's blend mixable with alcohol because it's Nott we're talking about. I tried this both with a shot of normal rum and then as a kind of latte with a shot of RumChata and it was fantastic either way. But even if you can't or don't drink, I think this is still a really tasty blend by itself!
